Warranty and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)

As a matter of course, products ordered from LASystems have been subject to thorough quality checks by their respective vendors. As with store purchases, we're always here for you if an online purchase develops a fault and we will assist you in finding the most appropriate solution.
However, before you proceed please check that there definitely is a fault with your product.

The minimum statutory warranty period of 2 years for consumers and 1 year for business customers applies to all products purchased through LASystems (excluding consumables).

In many cases, this period can be extended by offering a commercial warranty directly from the manufacturer.

Only goods purchased from LASystems can be returned. Proof of purchase is based on invoice number and date and in some cases on the serial numbers quoted on the invoice.

The warranty is limited to defects due directly to design and production faults and is also limited to exchange and repair, depending on the warranty offered by the manufacturer or supplier.

Most common types of warranty:

Carry-in Warranty

(A) The customer needs to deliver, the items eligible for repair or replacement, at its own cost and risk to the office of LASystems. Products must be returned in the undamaged original packaging, free of labels, stickers, etc., and including all accessories such as cables, drivers, software and manuals. LASystems itself will handle the warranty process with its suppliers.
The cost of shipping the item to the end customer after repair, if desired, is subject to the usual transport charges.

Pickup and Return Warranty

(B) This manufacturer’s warranty includes access to a telephone hotline, a free pick-up, repair and return service, and covers the cost of the replacement parts and labour necessary for the repair. The end customer can use this service for all products covered by this type of warranty.

Onsite Warranty

(C) The manufacturer offers a direct customer service phone line. If they cannot resolve the problem, the company will either arrange for a service engineer to make an on-site visit to the client or arrange for the product to be returned to them.

The type of warranty is stated in the product documentation or manual. If you have a faulty item covered by point (A) that you wish to book in for repair, please contact us.
